在HP Integrity Server中有一塊有一張獨立于主機和系統之外的集成卡,這張卡里面有小型的集成系統(是獨立于系統的一個操作環境)，該卡負責對系統的狀態進行監視和控制。這張卡叫做GSP卡或者MP卡(老型號的機器叫做GSP(Guardian Service Processor (GSP)) 卡,新機器叫做MP卡)。該卡在系統插上電源后即被激活，無論操作系統是否啟動，系統是否開機。該卡提供了兩種接口的訪問方式：
(1)通過串口的方式訪問.(這個需要在機房操作)
(2)通過網絡的的方式訪問,也就是lan console的登陸方式.(在GSP卡和MP卡上都有串口和網絡接口)
下面以RX2660為例，介紹MP的管理，下圖中9（Console IOIOI）和12（MP LAN）就是兩種方式訪問的接口。
首先，通過串口線鏈接到RX2660上的控制臺串行端口（即上圖中的9），然后通過終端進行連接，波特率為9600，數據位為8，端口根據實際情況進行選擇，具體如下圖所示：
根據提示，輸入默認的用戶名：Admin 密碼：Admin（注意：首字母一定要大寫），如下所示：
