步驟1：準備系統以及在虛擬機上設置共享目錄DataBase，準備數據庫安裝介質。有些細節東西我可能會一筆帶過，不清楚的可以看看我這篇文章Rhel-Server 5.5 安裝ORACLE10
安裝介質文件10201_database_linux_x86_64.cpio.gz，必須先用gunzip解壓，然后用cpio解壓cpio格式的文件。
解壓安裝文件
[root@bogon DataBase]# cd /mnt/hgfs/DataBase/
[root@bogon DataBase]# ls
10201_database_linux_x86_64.cpio.gz
[root@bogon DataBase]# gunzip 10201_database_linux_x86_64.cpio.gz

步驟2：查看安裝文檔，在解壓目錄下打開welcome.html文件，點擊“Installing Oracle Database”下的“Documentation”鏈接即可進入。安裝前最好將安裝文檔初略看一遍，當然你也可以在安裝過程中參考。

內存檢測：內存最低要求512M，如今不能滿足這個條件的計算機的都是老古董了，虛擬機我分配的是2G內存，如下所示

從文檔中可以看出ORACLE 10g只支持到Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0，并沒有明確表示支持Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0. 這是因為Oracle官方并沒有在Rhel 4以后的版本測試過Oracle 10g，另外一方面應該是Oracle出于自己的商業利益戰略考慮。安裝過程中你必須修改配置文件 /etc/redhat-release 將“Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.0 (Santiago)” 改為“Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 4.0 (Santiago)”，否則安裝過程會報錯，無法繼續。
查看內核版本，比文檔要求的版本要高。

檢查必須安裝以下軟件包（或更高版本）：注意千萬不要用下面語句檢查，否則全部都是沒有，因為Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0下的包的版本可能比這個高，所以你最好忽略那些版本號，然后去檢查。這部相當重要。安裝過程很多報錯信息就是因為這一步沒有到位導致的。當然有些錯誤是因為缺少一些包，安裝文檔也沒有提及（后面有講解）

安裝缺少的包，首先配置yum，如果缺少文件 rhel-debuginfo.repo ,新建文件 rhel-debuginfo.repo，其中Relhat6目錄是Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0的安裝介質目錄，下面紅色部分是需要根據你系統具體配置的部分

接下來就是安裝缺少的一些包的過程，甚是枯燥和無聊。

步驟5： 創建需要的系統用戶和用戶組（Creating Required Operating System Groups and User）
5.1 首先檢查是否存在用戶組dba、oinstall

5.2 創建用戶組dba、oinstall
[root@bogon ~]# /usr/sbin/groupadd oinstall
[root@bogon ~]# /usr/sbin/groupadd dba
5.3 檢查是否存在oracle用戶
[root@bogon ~]# id oracle
id: oracle: No such user
5.4 創建oracle用戶
[root@bogon ~]# /usr/sbin/useradd -g oinstall -G dba oracle
[root@bogon ~]# id oracle

5.5 設置oracle用戶的密碼
[root@bogon ~]# password oracle

步驟6： 配置Linux系統內核參數 Configuring Kernel Parameters
在 /etc/sysctl.conf文件中添加內核參數信息

安裝過程中如果報“ORA-27125:unable to create shared memory segment”這個錯誤，一般原因是操作系統用戶權限不足的問題，可以通過下面的方式來解決：
將oracle的dba組的gid寫入/proc/sys/vm/hugetld_shm_group文件中
解決方法
[root@bogon logs]# id oracle
uid=502(oracle) gid=502(oinstall) groups=502(oinstall),503(dba)
[root@bogon logs]# more /proc/sys/vm/hugetlb_shm_group
0
[root@bogon logs]# echo vm.hugetlb_shm_group=502 > /etc/sysctl.conf
